An EMBL-hosted guest report published on 20 October looks back at the Transcription and chromatin conference in late August. It describes researchers discussing how cells regulate which genes are active; the publication date is not the date of a new experiment.
According to the account, discussion covered how DNA folding relates to gene regulation, how cells maintain gene-silencing states, and how computational approaches help researchers investigate these processes. These are reported conference themes, not independently established findings from this bulletin.
The report also discusses machine learning in genomics. BioClarion has not independently assessed the presentations, underlying experiments or computational performance; this recap does not establish a treatment benefit.
